Bypassing the job interview ?

In a radical move by Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce giant, no longer do HR teams spend their effort making a decision based on the traditional approach to hiring. Instead, Flipkart hires candidates based on the content in social media profiles and job application forms without interviewing.

This has enabled the company to save thousands of hours and money. More importantly, in a labour market that is fiercely competitive, it has given the company quick access to a large talent pool of applicants, well before the competitors do. This has been happening since 2016 with great success!
